What in the flying fuck did I just agree to?

I still can’t comprehend how this could contribute to the development of an app, but I guess I’ll ask those questions later.

Jay still sits across from me on the couch, completely invested in whatever is keeping his attention on his laptop. Several minutes pass before he finally diverts his attention toward me.

“When would you like to start?” Jay asks, closing the laptop and setting it aside.

“Whenever you need me to.”

The look in his eyes has me back to square one, feeling vulnerable and confused.

“You look flustered, Gwen…are you sure you want to do this?”

“How will I know if I don’t at least try? It’s not like I’ve ever used any of those things before. This is all new to me.” I admit.

Jay’s face slowly morphs into confusion, “Never?” He asks in a surprised tone.

“Never.” I repeat, suddenly feeling like I’m in the hot seat. Maybe I should have just kept my damn mouth shut.

“Shit…this is perfect!” Jay says, leaning back into the couch with his arms spread out over the back.

How is my vanilla sex life perfect for something like this?

“Don’t I at least need some experience?” I ask.

How is he supposed to test anything on me when I don’t even know what it’s supposed to feel like in the first place?

“Absolutely not. Your body is uniquely fresh to the concept, so I’ll be able to collect the rawest of data. Tell me…do you ever make yourself cum?” Jay asks, almost like he’s just asking an ordinary question in a questionnaire.

This is all but ordinary.

He grins wide and I can tell he’s just beginning with the questioning.

“Hmm…I always assumed it was a common practice.” Jay snickers, rather pleased with my lack of sexual experience.

I’m not sure if I’m prepared for any more questions about my lackluster life.

I’m as plain as a damn dish sponge.

“Are you sure I’m even a good fit for this?” I ask, giving him one more chance to change his mind.

“Fuck yeah. We’ve been looking for someone like you for a while now. We’ve been working on this app for two solid years, and I think you might speed up the process a little.”

Well shit. I can’t back out now. Besides, how bad could this be?

Will the future me regret this?
